DJ HARVIE
Harvie is a professional disc jockey l from Kenya known for his well-crafted audio and video mixes across most musical genres and electrifying performances. He is mostly invested in wordplays, mashup mixing and love bringing the hype in music to the masses.
Born in Nairobi, Kenya, and Having grown up in the late 90s and 2000s, he developed a strong interest in HipHop, RnB, Kenyan Genge, Bongo, oldschool music, dancehall, reggae, house and Pop at a young age and later on Afrobeat, Dancehall, Reggae, Soul & EDM. In 2011, as a high-schooler, his interest in the art of deejaying was sparked after watching Kenyan Dj shows and listening to alot of radio dj sets that aspired the love for music blending and mixing. He started learning the art and craft by listening to mixtapes and taking notes, watching youtube tutorials.
The official begin of Dj harvie journey was in 2018 where he started to release mixtapes till to date. The craft was brought about buy the use of software like; Virtual DJ, Sony Acid & Sony Vegas. Other key influences at the time were DJ Andie, DJ Kalonje, DJ Bash, DJ Hassan, DJ vin, Dj Burn, DJ Kaytrixx & DJ Simple Simon to name a few. Mr. Greatness, as he’s also known, would release mixes that would go round in matatus and get plenty of love and replays which brought to the growth of the name, Mr greatness came to be. These mixes gained a lot of popularity in the streets of nairobi,outscares of nairobi and online.
Harvie has not heard the chance to perform and showcase his skill on major platforms, radio stations and video stations but has heard the chance to experience and showcase all littlebit of his skills to the events he attended and got a really great motivating feedback that has led him to put effort and work to his mixtapes

Harvie is that one underrated DJ who if you listen keenly especially on Trap mixes, you’d rank him almost equal to others with much more experience in the same field like DJ Stone. He’s the guy!
